Flybe non-executive chairman Jim French has stepped down effective immediately, completing a total management overhaul at Europe’s largest regional airline. Simon Laffin has been brought in as Flybe’s new non-executive chairman. French joined Flybe in 1990, became CEO in 2001 and added the role of chairman in 2005.
