China Southern Airlines is expected to make a big turnaround in the first half, according to a statement released by Shanghai Stock Exchange. The Guangzhou-based carrier predicted it would report a net income between CNY3.4 billion and CNY3.6 billion ($554 million and $587 million), reversed from a net loss of CNY1.018 billion in the year-ago period.
