Russia’s Aeroflot will launch a new low-cost subsidiary (LCC) Oct. 27, CEO Vitaly Saveliev was quoted as saying by Russian news agency ITAR-TASS. The new subsidiary will reportedly replace Dobrolet, which launched flights June 10 but suspended operations Aug. 4 due to sanctions imposed by the European Union.
