Singapore Airlines has acquired a further 7.3% interest in Tiger Airways Holdings, parent company of budget carrier Tigerair, increasing its stake from 32.7% to 40%. The shares were purchased from Dahlia Investments and Aranda Investments, which are indirect wholly owned subsidiaries of Singapore Airlines’ parent company Temasek Holdings, which holds a 55.8% stake in Tiger Airways.
