ANA Group president and CEO Shinichiro Ito has been appointed president and CEO of ANA Holdings Inc., and chairman of All Nippon Airways. Senior EVP Osamu Shinobe will succeed Ito as president and CEO.                                                                        ANA’s current chairman, Yoji Ohashi, will become chairman of ANA Holdings. The changes will become effective April 1.

According to a company statement, Ito was appointed president and CEO of ANA Group in April 2009. “During his tenure, he helped move the Group back to profit in FY2010 before announcing record operating income in FY2011,” ANA said in a statement.
