Garuda Indonesia reported a $64.3 million net loss for the first quarter of 2018, an improvement from a loss of $101.2 million a year ago, as the carrier made progress on many of its turnaround goals in addition to increased fleet utilization, which helped Garuda reduce its net loss in the first quarter.
