Lufthansa has made the Vereinigung Cockpit (VC) pilots’ union a new offer in an effort to resolve the ongoing industrial dispute that is costing the German carrier €15 million ($16 million) per day. The company has offered a two-step 4.4% wage increase plus a one-off payment. Remuneration would be increased 2.4% for 2016 and by a further 2% for 2017.
