Italy’s Abruzzo Airport, located near Pescara, will close from Nov. 15 to 24 for a major upgrade and maintenance work to the runway and taxiway. The regional airport, located close to Italy’s Adriatic coast, is largely used by low-cost carriers Ireland’s Ryanair, Romania’s Blue Air and Hungary’s Wizz Air, as well as by national carrier Alitalia.
