[UPDATED] An Antonov 140 passenger aircraft, operated by Sepahan Airlines, crashed shortly after takeoff Sunday morning from Iran’s Tehran Mehrabad Airport on a flight to Tabas in Eastern Iran, according to FARS news agency (FNA). FNA reported there were 40 passengers and eight crew members on board; at least 39 were killed. According to FNA, nine occupants survived; three to seven bystanders were wounded.
