Air France operated what it claims is the lowest CO2 emissions flight between Toulouse and Paris on October 13 with an A321.

By using a mix of conventional kerosene and bio-kerosene made from hydrogenated used vegetable oils, Air France flight AF6129 achieved a CO2 emission rate of 54g of CO2 per passenger-kilometer—half that usually emitted on a conventional flight.

To achieve the feat, Air France optimized flight procedures and reduced the on-board weight.
