Copa posts record quarterly result, expects strong 2006

Copa Holdings, parent of Panama's Copa Airlines and Colombia's AeroRepublica, reported first-quarter net income of $32.2 million, a 42.9% increase over the $22.6 million earned in the year-ago quarter and a record quarterly result for the company.
