Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, parent of Atlas Air and Polar Air Cargo, announced yesterday the upcoming retirement of President and CEO Jeffrey Erickson, who steered the company out of bankruptcy in 2004. Atlas made the announcement as it reported that it expects to post pre-tax income "in excess" of $125 million when it releases its final 2005 results in April.
