Lufthansa Technik (LHT) and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico announced Thursday an agreement to create an MRO facility in Puerto Rico, which will service short- and medium-haul aircraft. The new company, Lufthansa Technik Puerto Rico (LTPR), will be based at Rafael Hernández International Airport in Aguadilla, a former US Air Force base.
