Lufthansa Group low-cost (LCC) subsidiary Eurowings Europe will hire 600 crewmembers as its fleet expands to 19 Airbus A320s by the end of 2017. A Lufthansa spokesperson told ATW, “We are looking for 400 cabin crew members, as well 100 captains and 100 first officers.” Eurowings Europe will have an air operator’s certificate in Austria.
