Congress passes funding bill; sequestration cuts remain

The US House of Representatives passed legislation Thursday that will fund the US government for the remainder of its fiscal year ending Sept. 30.

The Senate has already cleared the bill, so it now goes to President Barack Obama for signature into law, which is expected. The US government faced a partial shutdown starting March 27 absent action by Congress. The across-the-board spending cuts initiated this month, know as budget sequestration, were largely kept in place in the spending bill.

The Department of Defense and several agencies were given limited flexibility to partially mitigate the impact of the cuts, but not FAA. FAA administrator Michael Huerta has said the agency will begin furloughing most employees one day every two weeks starting in April, which he has warned will lead to flight delays.

The Unionist will delay as much as possible to achieve their goal of Destroying the Freedom of the USA. It is as usual, blame someone else for your incompetance. Leon and Vladamir would be proud of the Unionism they created.

I doubt that this is about unionism; never mind your ideological inclination. You certainly do not want that to cloud your judgement, because it will cost you some day.

Amen Japiv! The administration has the ability to determine who gets hit but they're determined to make it hurt & publicize that it isn't their fault.
