Fractional jet provider Flexjet, based in Cleveland, Ohio, has launched a 12-state, 15-stop tour of its Embraer Praetor 600 super midsize jet as it enters Flexjet’s North American fleet.

Flexjet has operated the Praetor 600 in the European market since 2000. 

The company also offers the Embraer Praetor 500, Bombardier Challenger 350, and Challenger 3500 in its midsize and super midsize fleet. Flexjet is the only fractional provider currently operating both the Praetor 500 and Praetor 600, it says. 

By the end of 2023, Flexjet plans to add 22 aircraft in the category to its fleet, ending the year with 148 mid- and super-midsize jets, nearly double the size in 2018. 

The company, the second-largest fractional provider behind NetJets, also operates the Phenom 300 light jet, Gulfstream G450 large jet and the G500, G650 and G700 ultra-long-range jet. 

Embraer’s Praetor 600 has a cruising altitude of 45,000 ft., seating for up to nine passengers, a 6-foot-high interior, fully berthable seating, stowable workstations, Wi-Fi and other features. 

In September, Flexjet opened a new $50 million global headquarters and operations center in Cleveland, housing 670 of the company’s 4,000 employees worldwide. The 51,453 ft.² expansion increased Flexjet’s campus at Cuyahoga County Airport to 243,000 ft.² Other renovations are underway, the company says.

Tour dates run from Sept. 25 through Oct. 6 at stops across the country.
