AIRLINE OF THE YEAR AWARD
ATW’s top award for outstanding performance can be awarded to any carrier that has demonstrated consistent overall excellence.
REGIONAL AIRLINE OF THE YEAR AWARD
This is our top award for the regional segment of the airline industry.
DECADE OF EXCELLENCE AWARD
ATW's Decade of Excellence award recognizes an individual whose commitment, leadership and endeavors have resulted in significant and lasting contributions that have shaped and promoted the global airline industry.
VALUE AIRLINE OF THE YEAR AWARD
The Value Airline of the Year Award are carriers that maintain low costs, low fares and deliver value to employees, shareholders and/or investors, as well as to customers.
AVIATION TECHNOLOGY ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
(FORMERLY KNOWN AS AIRLINE TECHNOLOGY ACHIEVEMENT AWARD)
Winners are organizations, companies or manufacturers that have developed a technology, product or system that has significantly advanced airline operations, capability, efficiency and/or airline safety.
PASSENGER SERVICE AWARD
Given to an airline that has been innovative and consistently superior in providing outstanding quality passenger service at a fair price.
AIRLINE MARKET LEADERSHIP AWARD
(FORMERLY KNOWN AS MARKET DEVELOPMENT AWARD)
For an airline--passenger, cargo or both--which has developed a new market, either a new city-pair, or customer base, and done exciting things.
JOSEPH S. MURPHY INDUSTRY SERVICE AWARD
Named in honor of ATW’s founder and first editor and publisher, the Joseph S. Murphy Industry Award is presented in those years where ATW Editors believe an individual, airline, company or organization merits special recognition.
AIRLINE TECHNOLOGY LEADERSHIP AWARD
(FORMERLY KNOWN AS TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT AWARD)
Airline Market Leadership Award winners are carriers that have developed or entered new markets and/or innovative business strategies that have grown their networks, revenues, customer base and/or brand recognition.
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AWARD
This category covers airlines that have demonstrated innovative, exceptional performance in managing their finances.
LABOR/MANAGEMENT RELATIONS AWARD
This award goes to an airline that has demonstrated originality and outstanding performance in its relations with labor.
CARGO AIRLINE OF THE YEAR AWARD
(FORMERLY KNOWN AS CARGO DEVELOPMENT AWARD)
Cargo Carrier of the Year Award can be any all-freight or combination operator.
AIRLINE PUBLIC RELATIONS AWARD
An award for airlines that have exhibited outstanding performance in public and/or press relations.
Created in 2004: ATW introduces a new award to acknowledge the dramatic changes that have occurred in commercial aviation since the dawn of the new Millennium. The Phoenix Award celebrates airlines that have achieved a commercial rebirth through a life-changing transformation.
