FedEx Express unveiled an expansion plan for its Indianapolis hub yesterday that includes construction of up to 14 widebody gates. The project will boost its processing capacity at the airport by 30% to 99,000 packages per hr. and is expected to be completed by late 2008. As part of its agreement with IND, FedEx extended its lease by 12 years to 2028.
