Boeing’s third 787-9 test aircraft completed its test flight Tuesday. The aircraft, ZB021, took off from Paine Field in Everett, Wash. and landed 2 hours and 44 minutes later at Seattle’s Boeing Field. It is powered by GEnx engines. Boeing said it will use ZB021 to test engine performance as well as aircraft handling characteristics such as low-speed performance and braking. “The 787-9 test program continues to make great progress,” Boeing said in a statement. ...
