Russia’s Yakutia Airline (R3) will take delivery of its first Bombardier Q400 in early November. The carrier did not disclose details but ATW understands the airline could order three of the type. R3 previously said it would lease three Q300s instead of the Q400s but changed its mind after the Q400 received type certificate approval to operate in Russia and the CIS in June (ATW Daily News, June 8).
