Even without the wing cracks ,the A380 is no soaring sales success and basically an embarrassment. The program was riddled with endless delays ... the aircraft has been on offer for over 10+ years but only has a dismal 262 orders with the program having not broken even nor has it yet to make any profit for Airbus ...Airbus can't seem to ramp up production of the A380 to make it largely viable ... and Emirates Airline currently accounts for MORE THAN HALF of all A380s ordered which means the survival of an estimated 25 billion Euro project depends of one airline !!! The 777-300ER has wiped out the A340-500,600 and now its aiming at A380.
Any other explanation?
