Sun Country wins court, creditor approval of bankruptcy emergence plan

Sun Country Airlines last week received court approval for its plan of reorganization and said it is on its way to emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. "The plan provides cash payments to certain creditors as well as the distribution of equity in the reorganized company to other creditors," the Minneapolis/St. Paul-based carrier said in a statement.
