Poll: What kind of impact will the pandemic crisis have on pre-owned aircraft values?

The COVID-19 pandemic impacted deliveries of business and general aviation aircraft during the first quarter of 2020, with deliveries down 20.9% compared to a year ago and declines in every aircraft category, according to the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA). 

Manufacturers delivered 404 business and general aviation aircraft in the quarter, compared to 511 a year ago. The largest delivery decline was in turboprops, which fell 41.8% compared to a year ago, with 71 turboprops delivered. Business jet deliveries totaled 114, down 19.1% from a year ago, while piston aircraft deliveries fell 11.7% to 219 aircraft, according to GAMA.

Meanwhile, billings for the first quarter of 2020 totaled $3.4 billion, down 21.3% from $4.3 billion a year ago, it said.
