Sweden’s Stockholm Arlanda Airport is to become the latest location to offer US preclearance facilities. Preclearance locates the US border at foreign airports and allows US-bound passengers to clear immigration and customs inspections before boarding flights. This means they can effectively enter the US as domestic arrivals, allowing them to bypass the often lengthy immigration queues at major US airports.
