Russian aviation authorities have denied an air operator’s certificate (AOC) to regional Air Samara. Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency, Rosaviatsia, said the carrier did not have enough pilots for its fleet of three regional Beechcraft King Air 350i aircraft. In addition, it said there is no line maintenance station for the aircraft type at Samara Airport, which the carrier planned to use as its base.
