Bombardier completed what it called "a civil aviation first," the first flight of a civil aircraft "equipped entirely with an all-electric braking system." The system is being developed for the CSeries. The 7-hr. test, which included five landings and a series of high-speed braked ground runs, was carried out Tuesday in Wichita.
