Vueling Airlines appointed Lars Nygaard as its new CEO, taking over from Carlos Munoz. Nygaard joined SAS Group in 1991 and joined its Spanish subsidiary, Spanair, 10 years later. He became Spanair CEO in October 2005 but resigned the position last week (ATWOnline, Nov. 14).
