Honeywell Appoints New Channel Partners
Honeywell has appointed Sabena Technics and Singapore Component Solutions as global channel partners for its Air Cycle Machine, which is used to improve air flow in aircraft. The two companies will provide repair and upgrades for the product on ATR 42 and 72 platforms.

Constant Aviation Seeks Uptick in AOG Services Demand
Constant Aviation reports that its AOG division has been working at 120% capacity to help bring idled aircraft back to service, up from 30% capacity in March. Its AOG team recently added capabilities to address a recent Embraer service bulletin, acquiring the necessary tooling kits that can be shipped overnight to anywhere in the U.S.

HAECO Xiamen Provides Cargo Solutions to Cathay Pacific
HAECO Xiamen has provided design engineering and certification solutions to Cathay Pacific Airways, enabling it to use sections of its Boeing 777 and Airbus A330 passenger cabins to carry cargo. The modifications entail removing economy and premium economy seats to install cargo bags or securing cargo bags onto existing seat structures.

Atkins Gains EASA Design Organization Approval
Atkins has been granted EASA Design Organization Approval (DOA) to approve modifications to existing aircraft to confirm their airworthiness in line with regulations and certification requirements. According to Atkins, achieving DOA will enable it to support aircraft operators in processing unconventional repairs in a shorter timeframe and aid in the modification of aircraft.

S7 Technics Planning New Seat Capabilities
S7 Technics is planning to launch a production site to manufacture polyurethane foam for passenger seats. The site is currently undergoing renovation and staff training will begin soon, with plans for the first trial batch of products to be released in October.

EFW Launches Cabin Cargo Solution
EFW has launched a lightweight Cabin Cargo Box solution to help airlines boost cargo capacity in the cabin. The product is applicable for all narrow- and widebody aircraft, is movable on wheels and can be available in both open or closed versions using nets, canvas or solid doors. The Cabin Cargo Box comes with an installation kit with latches designed to match the seat rowing system to ensure safe, quick installation.

Alaska Airlines Signs Parts Agreement with Boeing
Alaska Airlines has signed a three-year consumable and expendable services agreement with Boeing for solutions including a tailored parts package and quick engine change (QEC) kits to support its fleet of Boeing 737s. Under the agreement, which Boeing says will help Alaska streamline its maintenance operations through price and availability benefits, the OEM expects the shipment of nearly 800,000 parts and four QEC kits.

GA Telesis Purchases P&W Engines for Disassembly
GA Telesis has purchased eight Pratt & Whitney PW4056-3 engines previously operated by Delta Air Lines from Delta Material Services. The engines will be immediately inducted for disassembly and repair and the used serviceable material will be made available to GA Telesis customers within the next three months.

Azul Completes First C-Check at New Hangar
Azul has completed the first C-check at its new hangar at Campinas Viracopos Airport, which was inaugurated in Q1 of this year. The C-check was performed on an Airbus A320neo between July 7-15.
