Boeing president and COO Dennis Muilenburg will succeed Jim McNerney as Boeing’s CEO July 1, the company said Tuesday. McNerney, who has been Boeing’s CEO for the past decade, will remain chairman of the company’s board of directors and “will continue working as a company employee until retiring at the end of February 2016,” Boeing said in a statement.
