Lufthansa’s pilot union Vereinigung Cockpit (VC) continued its strike action against the airline for a second day Nov. 23. Lufthansa cancelled 876 flights, including 51 long-haul flights, as a result. The carrier said VC announced an additional strike for Nov. 24. In response, Lufthansa cancelled 912 flights, including 82 long-haul flights, affecting 115,000 passengers.
