Lufthansa has canceled 3,800 flights for April 2-4 in advance of a pilot strike called by the Vereinigung Cockpit (VC) union, affecting 425,000 passengers. The strike impacts Lufthansa and low-cost carrier Germanwings flights. Lufthansa will operate only about 500 short- and long-haul flights during the strike.
