Sabre to acquire Asia Pacific GDS Abacus International

Sabre Corp. has agreed to acquire Abacus International, the leading Asia-Pacific global distribution system (GDS), for $411 million. Abacus is owned by a consortium of 11 Asian airlines, alongside Sabre that already holds a 35% stake. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of 2015....
