German tour-operator TUI Group has disposed of its remaining shares in Germany’s second largest carrier and oneworld member airberlin. In a deal signed with TUI Travel in 2009, airberlin took over loss-making scheduled shuttle routes from TUIfly and signed a long-term wet-lease agreement for up to 14 Boeing 737NGs.
