Ryanair plans to petition the UK’s Supreme Court following a lower court’s dismissal of its appeal against a directive to sell down its 29.8% stake in Aer Lingus to 5% on competition grounds. It said the case raised important human rights issues, adding the directive had been fatally undermined by International Airlines Group’s bid for Aer Lingus.
