Aeroflot’s new low-cost (LCC) subsidiary Dobrolet Airline has received its air operator’s certificate (AOC) and plans to launch operations in June, according to Aeroflot CEO Vitaly Saveliev. Dobrolet has two Boeing 737-800s. Aeroflot also plans to transfer one Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) to the subsidiary. By the end of the year, the LCC plans to increase its fleet to eight aircraft.
