Etihad Airways has reportedly increased its shareholding in Virgin Australia by at least 1.4%, taking its holding to a minimum of 12%, ATW understands. The Abu Dhabi-based carrier had a 10.55% stake in Virgin Australia, but has said in the past it is open to extending its investment.
