Innsbruck-based regional carrier Air Alps, which ceased operations in January 2012, will be liquidated after it failed to attract new business and could not find a new investor. Its plan to team up with Russian investors was unsuccessful. The small carrier operated its last scheduled flights in November 2012 between Bolzano, Italy and Rome Fiumicino.
