Japan Airlines (JAL) subsidiary Hokkaido Air System has inked an MOU with regional turboprop manufacturer ATR for two ATR 42-600s and a third, optional one. The aircraft are scheduled for delivery in November 2019 as a replacement for the carrier’s three Saab 340s.
