British Airways said it will commit to three Boeing 777-300ERs, which the carrier will take on operating leasing with an as-yet unidentified lessor. The announcement came near the close of the industry trade portion of the Farnborough Air Show July 19. Total value of the new aircraft is $1.1 billion at list prices.  British Airways, which is part of International Airlines Group (IAG), already flies 58 777-200ER and -300ER aircraft. Mark Nensel
