Russia’s UTair Express Airlines has signed a technical support agreement with PowerJet for the SaM146 engines that power its fleet of Sukhoi Superjet 100LRs (SSJ100LRs). The regional carrier will take delivery of the first of six SSJ100LRs later in June; it is scheduled to take delivery of all aircraft before the end of the year.
