Russia’s Komiaviatrans airline has become the first carrier to launch flights to the new Kaluga airport. It started 3X-weekly Embraer ERJ-145 Saint Petersburg-Kaluga service on June 16. The new Kaluga International Airport, located 160 km from Moscow, opened at the end of May. It is expected Komiaviatrans will also launch weekly Kaluga-Sochi service.
