Sydney Airport must pay Qantas AUD535 million ($394 million) to curtail the 30-year lease the Australian carrier holds on the airport’s Terminal 3.  Qantas signed the lease in 1989, which was due to expire June 30, 2019. Under the terms of a new 10-year deal, Terminal 3 will revert from Qantas to Sydney Airport on Sept. 1, 2015.
