Malaysia Airlines Berhad (MAB) is planning to apply for a separate air operator’s certificate (AOC) for its proposed Airbus A380 charter unit, and may also announce a name for the entity soon. The airline intends to file the AOC application with Malaysian regulators in the second quarter of 2017, MAB CEO Peter Bellew said recently.
