A much-needed new terminal at Kuwait International Airport was given the go-ahead May 29 when the Gulf nation’s Ministry of Public Works signed a KD1.3 billion ($4.3 billion) contract with Limak Construction. The company is part of Turkey’s Limak Group conglomerate. The new terminal will have an annual capacity of 25 million passengers and have 51 gates and stands.
