Hawaiian Airlines completed the first flight on its second ASPIRE (Asia and South Pacific Initiative to Reduce Emissions) route—Honolulu to Brisbane, Australia—Sept. 21. Hawaiian said the flight, which used an Airbus A330, saved a projected 1,500 lbs. (over 680 kg) of fuel.
