Chinese aviation and logistics group Shanghai Yiqian Trading Co. has bought Germany’s Frankfurt Hahn airport. The majority owner of the airport, the regional government of Rheinland-Palatinate, has sold its 82.5% stake in Frankfurt Hahn for a sum it described as being in “the low double-digit million euros range.” The other shareholder, the regional government of Hesse, is also understood to be selling its 17.5% stake to Shanghai Yiqian.
