Brazilian airlines have asked Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) to allow 1,500 extra domestic flights between June 6 and July 20 to meet a huge increase in demand during the FIFA 2014 World Cup, which will be held between June 12 and July 13.
