São Paulo-based low-cost carrier (LCC) GOL posted a third-quarter net profit of BRL65.9 million ($20.4 million), reversing a BRL2.1 billion net loss in 3Q 2015. GOL said the result reflects operational improvement at the company as well as the Brazilian real’s appreciation during the quarter.
