Mexican low-cost carrier VivaAerobus has taken delivery of the first of 52 Airbus A320 family aircraft. The order, which was placed in 2013, included 12 A320ceos and 40 A320neos and was the largest single deal by a Mexican customer. VivaAerobus currently operates six leased A320s and will become an all Airbus operator as it completes its fleet transition from Boeing 737-300s by early 2016.
