Chile-based LAN Airlines has resumed daily operations of its Boeing 787 fleet, nearly two months after it completed a test flight of the aircraft after installing battery modifications. The aircraft are operating the Santiago-Lima-Los Angeles route. CEO Ignacio Cueto said the airline has three aircraft in operation and will take delivery of two more of the type this year out of a total order for 32 aircraft.
